Bethany demonstrates the love and compassion of Jesus Christ by protecting children, empowering youth, and strengthening families through quality social services.

Our vision

Bethany envisions a world where all children, youth, and families are safe, loved, and connected. 

 

What would you do if you had a crisis in your family? Who would care for your kids? Maybe your mom or your sister or a trusted friend. But too many families don’t have this network of support, so when the parents are vulnerable, their kids are too. Safe Families is a network of volunteers that shows up like extended family, wrapping around children and families with the support they need to get through a temporary crisis. There are lots of ways to be involved, from filling a gap in child care to hosting a child in your home while a parent is hospitalized or seeking stable housing.
